USU Concludes Two-Game Homestand Saturday Against Louisiana Tech

QUICKLY — Utah State (1-5, 0-1 WAC) will complete its two-game homestand by hosting Louisiana Tech (3-3, 2-1 WAC) on Saturday, Oct. 24. The battle between the Bulldogs and the Aggies kicks off at 1 p.m. (MT) at USU's Romney Stadium (25,513).The WAC match-up will be broadcast by ESPN Regional and televised on KJZZ (Comcast Ch. 3 in Cache Valley).

 

GOOD TO BE HOME — Saturday is the second straight home game for USU and the first of a pair of two-game homestands for the Aggies this season (Nov. 14 and 20). This is the second season in a row that Utah State has had multiple two-game homestands with three and two-game sets last season. Overall, this season is the 19th time in USU's 117 years of football that the Aggies have had a pair of at least two-game homestands: 2009, 2008, 2001, 1998, 1996, 1995, 1990, 1981, 1971, 1953, 1950, 1948, 1947, 1946, 1944, 1916, 1915, 1914, 1901.

 

BACK-TO-BACK BULLDOGS — Saturday is the Aggies' first of consecutive games against a team of Bulldogs as USU plays at Fresno State next Saturday, Oct. 31. This is the second time in the last three seasons that such an occurrence has happened and in the exact same order.

 

UP NEXT — Utah State hits the road for a two-game stretch, doing battle with a Bulldog team for the second week in a row, playing at Fresno State on Saturday, Oct. 3, in a Halloween clash. Kickoff from FS's Bulldog Stadium is 3 p.m. (MT).
