USU Football Heads to Arkansas for Matchup with SEC Foe
LOGAN — Utah State (0-1, 0-0 WAC) travels to Arkansas (0-1, 0-0 SEC) to meet the Razorbacks in a non-conference game. Arkansas will be the fifth SEC opponent USU has played in the last eight years. USU is opening the year with back-to-back road games for the first time since 2003 when the Aggies actually played three straight away from Logan. USU opens its season with three of its first four games on the road. USU started each of the last two years with 1-1 records and hasn't been 0-2 since 2003. While USU has now lost nine straight season openers, the Aggies are 6-4 in the second game of the year in the last 10 seasons, including winning the second game in both 2004 and 2005. USU is now 1-6 on the road in the Brent Guy era.
