MOAB, Utah — Local Moab businesses are invited to show their Aggie pride by participating in the Utah State University Moab Paint the Town Blue event. This event is designed for locals to show off their love for their hometown university.

The event will run from Oct. 13-17, with the campus providing all the necessary materials. Businesses can pick up kits at the USU Moab campus that include paint and decorations beginning Oct. 1. The top designs will win a trophy, and a scholarship will be awarded in the winner’s name to help support future USU students in Moab.

“We are excited to have this Aggie tradition make its way down to Moab,” said Samantha Campbell, interim associate vice president for USU Moab. “We know that local residents are proud to have Utah State University in their backyard, and we can’t wait to see the creativity these businesses use as they deck out their windows and stores in Aggie Blue.”

For more information on Paint the Town Blue and to learn how to get your free kit, call (435) 259-7432 or visit the USU Moab campus.
