USU Softball to Hold Fan Appreciation Day Clinics this February
Utah State [University] head softball coach Carissa Millsap-Kalaba announced Wednesday [Feb. 3, 2010] that the Aggie softball program will hold four clinics this winter.
The team is hosting a coaching clinic, hitting clinic and defensive clinic, as well as a pitchers/catchers clinic. All four take place Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Stan Laub Indoor Facility.
The day will begin with the coaches clinic from 8-9:30 a.m. The cost of the coaches clinic is $125 per coach.
Following the coaches clinic are the clinics for players. The hitting clinic runs from 1011:30 a.m. The defensive clinic is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Finally, the pitchers/catchers clinic is set for 1:15-2:15 p.m.
The cost of the clinics is $30 per player, per clinic. All campers are asked to bring their own equipment for the clinics in which they are participating. More information is available online.
Utah State's 2010 softball season gets underway Friday, Feb. 12, in the St. George Tournament. The Aggies open up against Maine. The Aggies are under the direction of first-year head coach Carissa Millsap-Kalaba.
