USU Volleyball Adds Twitter Page
Utah State [University] head volleyball coach Grayson DuBose announced Tuesday [June 30, 2009] that the USU volleyball team has now joined the Twitter world.
Coach DuBose joins USU women's basketball head coach Raegan Pebley in expanding their accessibility with a Twitter page.
"Twitter is an easy way to stay in touch with our fan base," DuBose said. "I am looking forward to using this new tool to keep in touch with our alumni and parents."
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and receive updates, known as "tweets." "Tweets" are text-based posts of up to 140 characters, displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to other people who are known as "followers." All users must create accounts to join.
You can follow Coach DuBose and the volleyball team at http://twitter.com/USUVolleyball. The team can also be reached at http://www.utahstateaggies.com/sports/c-volley/allaccess.html. Coach DuBose will soon be adding a blog that can also be reached by going to the Aggie Volleyball All-Access page on the Utah State Web site.
Aggie fans can also follow the Utah State athletic program at twitter.com/USUAthletics. Several other USU coaches are considering adding Twitter pages, so stay tuned.
Additional Aggie sports news is available at the Athletics homepage Web site.
