With a prime location in the heart of the Wasatch Front and easy access from both I-15 and I-215, the campus offers easy accessibility for attendees traveling from across the region.
Many USU departments are becoming interested in USU Salt Lake, allowing the campus to help fulfill the university’s land-grant mission of meeting the needs of Utah and being a local resource for events, classes and community engagement.
USU Salt Lake, 920 W. Levoy Drive in Taylorsville is located within a 1-mile radius of a variety of hotels and dining choices, adding options for overnight guests and event catering. This makes the center the perfect venue for multi-day conferences or a single-day meeting.
"Being centrally located along the Wasatch Front allows us to serve organizations from across the state,” said David Vernon, senior associate vice president for the USU Wasatch Region. “That accessibility, combined with the flexibility of our facilities, enables us to strengthen USU’s land-grant mission by providing classrooms, convening space and a place where the university can engage communities and carry out its work in Salt Lake. We are committed to ensuring this space adds value and serves USU’s event center in Salt Lake.”
The campus features flexible event spaces that can be customized to fit a wide range of needs. From small boardroom meetings for two to large conferences and seminars, each space is equipped with modern technology capable of supporting in-person, hybrid and broadcast events. The space has modern facilities, amenities and a staff that is dedicated to making each hosted event an exceptional experience.

Additional amenities include a spacious common area for networking, a half kitchen, vending machines, complimentary Wi-Fi, and clean, well-maintained facilities that enhance the overall guest experience.
The campus has seen strong growth in the number of events hosted over the last several years.
