Utah State Cross Country Getting Ready for the 2010 Season

Utah State University’s men's and women's cross country teams begin the 2010 season with the first day of practice Tuesday, Aug. 24.
 
With a total of 17 seniors between the two teams, the Aggies have experience behind them as they enter fall action. In 2009, USU's men won their fifth consecutive WAC Championship while the women finished in second place.
 
USU men's team has 10 returning seniors in Steven Atkinson, Nick Bolinder, Michael Budge, Aaron Clements, Todd Griffith, Jason Holt, Daniel Howell, Eric Larson, Chio Lopez, Hunter Nelson and Casey Snider.
 
USU's women return seven seniors including, Justine Baugh, Jessie Chugg, Ruth Hilton, Alcia Holt, Lexie Meyer, Kim Quinn, Amber Rasmussen and Alisa Sheffer.
 
The Aggies first competition of the 2010 season is Saturday, Sept. 4, as they host the annual Utah State Open at the American West Heritage Center in Providence, Utah, at 9 a.m. Admission is free to the public.
