QUICKLY — To honor National College Football Day, Utah State (0-8, 0-4 WAC) will take on Fresno State (5-3, 4-1 WAC) Saturday, Nov. 3, in Western Athletic Conference action at Fresno, Calif. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. (MT) at Bulldog Stadium (41,031). Saturday is National College Football Day, celebrating the anniversary of the birth of an American institution. On the first Saturday in November of 1869, Rutgers and Princeton staged college football's first game. Ever since, the sport has become ingrained in American culture. Saturday will feature two of not only the conference's but the country's best kick returners in Fresno State's A. J. Jefferson, ranked second in the NCAA (32.9 ypr), and Utah State's
Kevin Robinson, ranked 12th in the NCAA (30.5 ypr). The match-up will also highlight the only two WAC players on the Hendricks Award Watch List for college's best defensive lineman in Utah State junior
Ben Calderwood and Fresno State senior Tyler Clutts. Fresno is the hometown two Aggies, Robinson and sophomore CB
Kejon Murphy.
