Utah State Gymnastics Has Two Meets in Four Days

ON TAP — No. 42 Utah State (3-10, 1-5 WAC) will have two gymnastics dual meets in a span of four days as the Aggies will host No. 35 San Jose State (11-2, 4-1 WAC) on Friday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m. (MT) at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum (10,270) in Western Athletic Conference action. USU then heads to Provo, Utah, on Monday, March 10, to take on in-state foe and 34th-ranked BYU (4-5) at 4 p.m. (MT) at BYU's Smith Fieldhouse (5,000).

Utah State is facing San Jose State for the first time this season, last meeting in the WAC Championships last year. Friday is the first duel between USU and SJSU since Feb. 26, 2001, also at Logan and won by the Spartans, 193.957-193.750.

 

The Aggies are currently ranked No. 42 in the RQS rankings. A team's RQS is determined by the top three road scores and then the highest scores for a team during the year.

 

UP NEXT — USU heads to Denton, Texas, for a quad-meet hosted by Texas Woman's with Kentucky and Centenary on Friday, March 14, at 6 p.m. (MT).
