ABOUT UTAH STATE — USU enters the 2010 season with seven letterwinners returning from the 2009 squad that posted a 1-19 overall and 0-9 WAC record. Highlighting the returners are NCAA Regional participants juniors
Lyndsie Boone (all-around) and
Jackie Dillon (vault) along with sophomore
Erica Huelsmann (floor). Those three will join with the lone Aggie senior,
Heather Heinrich, to lead USU in talent and experience. The Aggies also return sophomore
Brandie Dickson,
Haley Hogan and
Rebecca Holliday. Also returning to the USU lineup are sophomores
Chelsea Marquardt and
Rachel Flessner who missed last season with injuries. The Aggies also have three "A-list" freshmen in
Amanda Corn,
Amelia Montoya and
Amanda Watamaniuk. USU does not have any all-WAC performers returning from last year's sixth-place Aggie squad, although Heinrich is a two-time all-WAC honoree, earned all-conference recognition in 2007 and 2008.
