Utah State Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

For the 14th-straight year, the Utah State [University] soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award.

Overall, the Aggies are one of 892 NCAA soccer teams to receive the recognition, which includes 557 women’s teams. To earn the award, teams must have a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the full academic year. The Aggies posted an overall team GPA of 3.56 for the 2015-16 year.

Utah State is one of 10 Mountain West schools on the list, as well as one of five programs in the state of Utah. Additionally, USU has the highest team GPA among those conference and in-state teams.
