Utah State to Open Home Season Against Utah Saturday

QUICKLY — The nation's 12th most played rivalry will continue when Utah State (0-2, 0-0 WAC) hosts Utah (1-1, 0-0 MWC) it its home opener on Saturday [Sept. 16] at 6:05 p.m.The game will be televised on KJZZ. USU has won its last three home openers and is 7-3 in the last 10 seasons in its first game of the year in Romney Stadium. USU is 1-2 against Utah in those 10 games. USU is playing three of its first four games on the road for the first time since 2003 and for just the second time in the last 13 years.USU is 2-3 at home in the Brent Guy era, with wins against UNLV and San Jose State and losses to Boise State, Louisiana Tech and Nevada last year.

ON THE AIR — All Utah State football games are carried on KVNU 610 AM in Logan, and either 1230 AM or 1320 AM in Salt Lake City, and at www.UtahStateAggies.com with Al Lewis calling the play-by-play and Craig Hislop providing analysis.
