Utah State University Collegiate FFA Chapter Featured on RFD-TV
The Utah State University Collegiate FFA chapter will be showcased Aug. 27-29 on This Week In AgriBusiness, a weekly television program hosted by two of the country’s most well-known farm broadcasters, Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson.
The Utah State University Collegiate FFA chapter tribute includes information about the chapter’s history, activities and community service. It also includes several photos of university students and their participation in local activities.
“We are very excited to showcase the great things that the students at USU have done for our campus and community to a national audience,” said Becki Lawver, USU Collegiate FFA advisor.
USU’s Collegiate FFA association enhances students’ experience through service and engagement to create premier leaders, enable personal growth and ensure career success. Members from all majors across USU meet once a month to plan service-learning projects, participate in professional development activities and have fun.
Viewers can watch the USU Collegiate FFA chapter tribute during This Week In AgriBusiness, which is aired on RFD-TV, a 24-hour television network for rural America. RFD-TV is carried on Dish Network channel 231 and on DirecTV channel 379, as well as a number of other cable systems. The broadcast will air four times throughout the weekend. Broadcast times are 7 a.m. Saturday; 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday; and 8 a.m. Monday, Central Standard Time. For more information, contact Lawver at 435-797-1254.
