Utah State University to Host Mark Faldmo Track and Field Invitational

LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University will host its only home track and field meet when the five-team Mark Faldmo Track and Field Invitational takes place at the Ralph Maughn Stadium on the Utah State  campus, Saturday, April 16.
 
This annual meet will feature athletes from BYU, Idaho State, Utah, USU and Weber State. Field events will start first, with the hammer starting at 10 a.m., while the running events won't start until 11:45 a.m. The last event of the meet is scheduled for 4 p.m. The public is invited and admission is free.
 
Utah State had 12 first-place finishes at last year's home meet, including returning senior D.J. Smith in the 100 meters and sophomore Amber Judd in the 400 meter hurdles.
 
Results will be e-mailed and faxed to those requesting that service and will also be available on the Utah State Web site at approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the meet.
