Veterans Resource Office at Utah State University to Honor Veterans With Commemorative Events

LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University’s Veterans Resource Office, in conjunction with several campus partners, is supporting a series of events in November to honor and support members of the USU community who have served. The events will include a Wall of Honor display, staff and faculty awards, a commemorative lunch, a keynote speaker and more.
Event Highlights
- Wall of Honor — A tribute recognizing USU community veterans will be on display in the Taggart Student Center 2nd Floor and virtually.
- Veterans Tribute Football Game (5:30 p.m Nov. 8) — The Aggies will face off against Nevada in Maverik Stadium. Tickets for football can be purchased here.
- Veterans Day Commemoration Lunch (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 11) — Free lunch, staff and faculty awards, and a keynote address from Andreas “Baron” Wesemann will be hosted in the TSC International Lounge.
- Veterans Day Concert (7:30 p.m. Nov. 11) —This concert will feature the American Festival Chorus and the USU Symphony Orchestra in Daines Concert Hall. Free tickets are available at this link.
- POW/MIA 24-Hour Vigil (7 a.m. Nov. 11 to 7 a.m. Nov. 12) — Presented by the USU Air Force ROTC, visit the Quad to honor fallen and missing service members, reflect on their sacrifice and show support for veterans.
- Veterans Tribute Basketball Game (Nov. 12, Time TBD) — USU vs Weber State basketball in the Spectrum. Tickets for basketball can be purchased here.
