The USU STARS! GEAR UP programs have provided experiences for hundreds of students each year since 2016. These summer programs are offered free of charge, encouraging education and career training after high school by giving students the chance to live and learn in a campus environment. Students participate in classes challenging their minds and exploring science, technology, and engineering in real situations. They also meet students and mentors from across the state. Summer camps and other activities are one of the ways that USU STARS! promotes positive pre-college experiences on campuses.
