Upcoming Camps & Events for Cohort 4

What: Are you interested in a hands-on skill-based career? Come explore careers that don’t require a 4-year degree and will give you the skills you need to start making money faster in a high-demand career. Join us as we tour some of Utah’s cutting-edge technical colleges and visit job sites where you can see these skills in action. This is a week-long bus tour through Utah; all meals and housing will be provided by USU STARS GEAR UP.

When: July 27 to July 31. Students must be at USU Salt Lake (920 W Levoy Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84123) on the morning of July 27 to board the bus. The bus will drop students off at USU Salt Lake on the evening of July 31, where they can be picked up.

Who: This bus tour is available only to GEAR UP students who graduated from Hunter, Granger, Kearns, Cottonwood, Taylorsville, or Cyprus High School in 2024.

What: Get ready to hit the road and experience college life in one of the most exciting cities in the country! Join us for a multi-day trip to Denver, Colorado, where you’ll visit a variety of colleges and universities, explore different career environments, and discover what your future could look like.
