Biotechnology Camp
When: July 8th & July 9th, 9:30am to 3:30pm
Where: Utah State University, Logan Campus
Who: This camp is only available for incoming 7th & 8th graders from American Preparatory Academy, Mount Logan Middle School, or Ogden Preparatory Academy.
The GEAR UP Biotechnology camp offers hands-on introduction to the exciting world of modern biology, where science, technology, engineering, and STEM fields converge. Students will explore concepts like genetic engineering, CRISPR, DNA visualization, Biotechnology and Biochemistry. Students will also visit the USU Chocolate Factory, Research Greenhouse, and Aggie Creamery.
Lunch will be provided. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the USU Edith Bowen Laboratory School, excluding students from American Preparatory Academy.
For APA students: Meet at APA at 7:15 am for transporation. The transport will return to APA by 5:30pm.
