| Description |
Akaline phosphatase (ALP) is an enzyme that can be induced by endogenous or exogenous corticosteroids in dogs. A standard biochemistry panel measures total ALP. This test specifically measures corticosteroid-induced ALP so that the effect of stress or corticosteroid administration on the total ALP concentration patient can be determined in canine patients. |
