Fresh samples provide the most accurate results. Testing multiple samples increases the likelihood of detecting intermittent shedding of Salmonella. If not shipping directly to the lab, store samples at refrigeration temperature until they are packaged for shipping. Samples must not be collected more than 5 days prior to expected delivery to the laboratory. |
