| Sampling Requirements |
Method 1 : Collect the sample, refrigerate the sample until shipment, and ship the samples on ice packs so that they arrive at the lab within 5 days of collection. Method 2 : Collect the samples, freeze the sample until shipment, and ship the samples on ice packs so that they arrive at the lab within 7 days of collection. |

Inoculate samples into 2mL of Lactated Ringer's solution (LRS) or phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), in a 15mL tube. Be sure to tighten the cap on the tube submitted. Samples inoculated in Bio-Med TF InPouch or TF transport media will continue to be accepted as well. |
