To Users of the Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory:

The mission of the Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UVDL) is to protect animal health by providing timely, state-of-the-art, accurate laboratory assays.  As the UVDL is partially state supported and operates as a nonprofit organization, efforts are made to keep testing costs as low as possible.  Regrettably, since the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic nearly everything needed to conduct laboratory-based testing has increased significantly in price.  Given this, the UVDL has no options other than to implement a new fee schedule, which will take effect on January 1, 2026.  In this schedule, not all tests have increased in cost; where increases have been applied, they are modest.
