Submit air-dried, unstained and unfixed slides, or aspirated fluid. Refrigerate fluid after collection. Keep away from formalin. Please label all slides with site. Include a brief clinical history, reason for the cytology, and lesion description including growth rate, size, visual or U/S appearance, and for skin masses, SQ or dermal and visual appearance (color, haired/non-haired).Different anatomic locations and different portions within the same anatomic location that are requested to be described separately will be treated as separate sites. |
