Box Elder County Coalition                                                                              A Bolder Way Forward Logo

Box Elder County is the spot where the Union and Central Pacific Railroads joined their rails and forged the destiny of a nation, the premier birding destination of the Western United States, site of the Spiral Jetty, and home to 58,000 people throughout its 16 cities and towns and nearly 6,000 square miles.  Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward Framework, the Box Elder Coalition strives to bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family within the county. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” the Coalition looks at who is currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and what programs and efforts already support women and families in Box Elder County. The co-leads, Executive Leadership Team and members facilitate communication, resource sharing, and new initiatives or programs as needed and connect Box Elder County with statewide efforts. By lifting women and girls in our county, we lift all residents. To learn more about what you can do to strengthen the impact of girls and women in San Juan County, read the "What Can I Do?" report
