Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Davis County Coalition                                                                                  A Bolder Way Forward Logo

Davis County, Utah, nestled north of Salt Lake City, offers a distinct mix of suburban tranquility and urban accessibility. The county is home to Hill Air Force Base, ensuring economic resilience and cultural vibrancy. Notably, Davis County boasts an array of outdoor activities, including hiking trails and parks, with the added allure of Lagoon Park, a renowned amusement park, making it a sought-after destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward Framework, the Davis Coalition strives to bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family within the county. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” the Coalition looks at who is currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and what programs and efforts already support women and families in Davis county. The co-leads, Executive Leadership Team and members facilitate communication, resource sharing, and new initiatives or programs as needed and connect Davis County with statewide efforts. By lifting women and girls in our county, we lift all residents. To learn more about what you can do to strengthen the impact of girls and women in Davis County, read the "What Can I Do?" report
