Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Sevier County Coalition                                                                                    A Bolder Way Forward Logo

Sevier County is unique due to our range of outdoor recreational activities and being home to one of the oldest towns in Utah. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward Framework, the Sevier County Coalition strives to bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family within the county. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” the Coalition looks at who is currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and what programs and efforts already support women and families in Sevier County. The co-leads, Executive Leadership Team and members facilitate communication, resource sharing, and new initiatives or programs as needed and connect Sevier County with statewide efforts. By lifting women and girls in our county, we lift all residents. To learn more about what you can do to strengthen the impact of girls and women in Sevier County, read the "What Can I Do?" report

Co-Leads

We are currently looking for co-leads that care about ensuring the women and girls in Sevier County are thriving. The word “thrive” means that an individual is flourishing, feeling a sense of wellbeing, actively developing, and progressing toward or realizing a goal despite or because of circumstances. A woman who is thriving has choices and opportunities to become who she would like to become and to contribute in ways she would like to contribute. In addition to Utah girls and women working for themselves to thrive, there are many efforts and actions that all of us can engage in to make this a reality for all.
