Utah County
Utah County is noted for its stunning natural landscapes, including the iconic Wasatch Mountains and Utah Lake. Renowned for its strong community spirit and volunteerism, the county also houses two of the state's largest universities and boasts a thriving arts scene. A strong entrepreneurial climate abounds throughout the county and a booming tech hub can be found at Silicon Slopes and the upcoming “The Point” complex. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward (BWF) Framework, the Utah County Coalition brings the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family within the county. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” we look at individuals and organizations currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and elevate existing efforts. By lifting women and girls, we lift all residents.
