Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Washington County

BWF logo

In addition to being one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation, Washington County is known for its red soil, sandstone cliffs and canyons, pine-covered mountains, lava flows, cottonwood-lined streams, and plentiful cactus, mesquite, and Joshua trees. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward (BWF) Framework, the Washington County Coalition leaders bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family. The County Coalition is part of the BWF Five-County Regional Coalition including Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, and Washington Counties, which together amplify the efforts in the region. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” we look at individuals and organizations currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and elevate existing efforts. By lifting women and girls, we lift all residents.
