February 2026 Newsletter
February Newsletter for the Utah Women & Leadership Project at Utah State University.
Colleagues,
We, at the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP), have a number of announcements for December:
First, we are pleased to announce the release of a new research and policy brief titled “Flexible and Family-Friendly Policies at Utah’s “Best Places to Work”.” Thanks to Robbyn Scribner and Michelle Vargas for their great work on this brief. It is focused on what 100 of Utah’s top companies are doing (particularly during COVID-19) in terms of flexibility and other family-friendly policies.
Second, check out three new Zoom videos from our recent events:
Third, we have released a new 4-part webinar series titled “Understanding Gender: An In-Depth Exploration for Educators & Parents.” These one-hour webinars (and accompanying resources) introduces parents, educators, and other influencers to research studies focused on the biological and socialized distinctions between genders. Thanks to the Utah Education Network (UEN) for their partnership on developing and launching this curriculum.
Fourth, the Utah Women’s Health Review (UWHR) is a collaboration between the University of Utah Center of Excellence in Women’s Health and Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library. UWHR is a peer-reviewed journal focused on sex and gender differences that affect the 7 Domains of Health: physical, emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, social, and spiritual. The journal publishes original research or review articles, data snapshots, and commentaries and is an ideal place for students, residents, fellows, and faculty to publish their research.
Finally, check out the following editorials and articles from November:
Join us on the UWLP social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. See the community calendar as well. Email uwlp@usu.edu to let us know you want to receive these updates to your own inbox if you received a forwarded email.
Enjoy December and Happy Holidays!
