Event Recap - A Conversation on the Impact of COVID-19 on Utah Women and Work

On August 25th, the Utah Women and Leadership Project hosted a panel discussion with Dr. Susan R. Madsen (UWLP Director and Karen Haight Huntsman Endowed Professor of Leadership, Utah State University), Dr. Chris Hartwell (Associate Professor of Management, Utah State University), Marin Christensen (Associate Director, Utah Women & Leadership Project), and Dr. Jared Hansen (Associate Professor of Marketing, Utah State University). These study researchers discussed how to better understand Utah women’s experiences. Specifically, the discussion focused on how women have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Utah Women and Leadership Project conducted an extensive, in-depth survey focusing on the impacts of COVID-19 on women and work. This comprehensive study included the collection of data on a wide variety of topic areas and included both quantitative and open-ended questions to capture participants’ perceptions and experiences. Over 3,500 Utah women responded to the survey.
