Colleagues,

I have a number of Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) announcements for August:

First, we are pleased to announce the release of a new research and policy brief titled “Bodies at Church: Latter-day Saint Doctrine, Teaching, and Culture as Related to Body Image” (Authors: Drs. Sarah M. Coyne and Lauren A. Barnes, Brigham Young University). Additionally, we have released three new “What Can I Do?” idea sheets for Juab County, Garfield County, and Morgan County (based on community gatherings). Thanks to everyone involved in these publications.

Second, we have a few resources to highlight this month:

• UWLP Podcast Episodes (with Utah Public Radio): A Bolder Way Forward Conversations: Sexual Harassment & Gender-Based Discrimination & Higher Education Attainment and The Status of Women Leaders in Government – State of Utah: A 2024 Update
