Critical Components that Propel Women’s Careers

The Utah Women & Leadership Project invites you step into a world of inspiration and empowerment by joining our 2025 ten-part webinar “Women in Leadership Executive Speaker Series.” This series is a celebration of dynamic and influential women who have shattered the glass ceiling landscape in Utah. For our first webinar in this series, Dr. Susan R. Madsen will moderate a discussion with Dr. Sydnee Dickson, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Michelle Love Day, Director of the Language & Culture Services Department for Jordan School District. This panel discussion will focus on a variety of critical elements that can propel women’s careers forward. First, successful women leaders are avid self-improvers and lifelong learners, while also being willing to support and develop other women toward leadership roles as well. Second, women often need to work past challenges like reluctance to claim achievement, perfectionism, and letting go of judgment. And finally, it is always important to remember our own journeys toward leadership and the influence of others along the way. Join this webinar to learn about women in leadership, particularly within the state of Utah.
