How to use the Interactive Dashboards
The following steps outline how to navigate the Interactive Dashboards.
Step 1: Select Category and Topic
Decide which category is of interest (box) and then select a topic (link) within that category to view the associated dashboard.
Step 2: View Dashboards
- Hovering over the horizontal bars at the top of the dashboard will show the average response and the full question asked in the survey. These responses are represented with a -3 for “Strongly Disagree”, -2 for “Disagree”, -1 for “Somewhat Disagree”, 0 for “Neutral”, 1 for “Somewhat Agree”, 2 for “Agree”, and 3 for “Strongly Agree.”
- The questions on the left of the horizontal bars show a shortened version of the full question that was asked in the survey.
- The vertical bar charts on the bottom of the dashboard show what percentage of the respondents chose each option. Clicking on the top horizontal bars will change the bottom bar chart according to the question selected. Hovering over the bottom bars will show the number of respondents that selected that option and the percentage of the total respondents.
- The question between the two charts shows the full question.
- The filters on the right show the various demographics of the survey respondents. The default option is “All.” Clicking into the dropdown allows dashboard customization. To set all filters back to all, manually select “All” or refresh the page. With multiple, specific filters, it’s possible that no chart may appear if there are no respondents that match those requirements.
Step 3: Navigate to Other Dashboards
Users can navigate to other dashboards by returning to the interactive dashboard overview page or by selecting another dashboard using the "Explore Other COVID-19 Dashboards" links below a visualization.
Other Instructions
