The Veterans Resource Office (VRO) at Utah State University hosted an unforgettable graduation dinner on Saturday night, April 27th, for the graduating veterans and dependents. Held in the elegantly decorated ballroom hall, the event celebrated academic achievements and heartfeltly acknowledged these students' service to their country. Celebratory remarks were made by the Director of the VRO Andy Allen. During the dinner, a special ceremony took place where the graduates were awarded graduation cords and pins, symbols of their hard work and dedication. Those who graduated with honors received distinctive pins, setting them apart and recognizing their academic excellence. This moment was a highlight of the evening, as each graduate was called up to receive their cord, met with applause and cheers from the supportive crowd.

Additionally, the dinner served as an opportunity to acknowledge the leadership roles these veterans took on during their academic journey. Special pins were presented to those VRO students who served in the presidency of the Student Veterans of America chapter at Utah State University. This recognition not only celebrated their academic and leadership achievements but marked their significant contribution to the veteran community within the university. The evening ended on a high note, with graduates feeling celebrated and supported as they prepared to embark on their next chapters.
