Brian Behan
Brian Behan from Tiverton, RI is an Air Force veteran who frequently visits the VRO for both studying and just to connect with veterans and dependents about shared experiences. It's an amazing spot on campus!
What is the most positive/useful life lesson you learned from your time in the military?
As a unit, community, or group we should be lifting each other up. They say "it takes a village to raise a child" but it still takes a village to allow them to live and grow old. We need to surround and help each other through difficult parts of our lives until the mission is fulfilled.
Major at USU:
Master's of Ecological Restoration
How has the VRO improved your experience at USU and/or helped you as a student?
I started at USU as soon as I moved out to Utah. I didn't hang out with people until I started going to the VRO. Also the math tutors are fun to mess with.
What's your favorite thing about being an Aggie, and why?
USU's focus on natural resource conservation. Also the VRO.
