Justin hometown is Hollister, California. He is from Savannah, Georgia. He is an active duty veteran and reserves service member in the Army.

What is the most positive/useful life lesson you learned from being a military family member?
If I could take a lesson from everything I have experienced in the military, it would be to actually evaluate whether something is difficult. In the Army, you are put into so many complex and tense situations that everything else just doesn't come close to the strain and distress I have experienced and grown from. I gained a perspective of what hard actually looks like, and because of it, everything else is a cakewalk.

How has the VRO improved your experience at USU and/or helped you as a student?
The VRO has provided an excellent hub for relaxation and community, with instant camaraderie, meaningful experiences, and a genuine interest in your well-being. Beyond that, the study space, tutors, and events also help tremendously.

Major at USU:
BS in Criminal Justice

Favorite thing about being a Aggie:
The outreach and access to so many different facilities that allow students to do so much more than just attend and study. For example, there is an innovation lab on campus with podcast booths, 3D printers, campaign button makers, photography studios, and much more, open to all students who want to create. And it is just one of the many facilities you can visit and be part of!
