Biography

Growing up in a musical family, my life has been infused with music for as long as I can remember, starting with my first piano lesson at age four. I have loved being able to express myself through music and I find excitement and satisfaction as I play the piano. I have also enjoyed playing the flute in bands and orchestras for many years. I am a student at USU working towards Bachelors degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. I have a minor in International Studies and have just started my minor in Piano Pedagogy. I taught piano through high school and am loving the opportunity to teach with the Youth Conservatory. It is a very special experience to guide and collaborate with another person on their musical journey and help them see what can come from discipline and dedication. I hope to enable my students to find the same enjoyment and self-expression through the piano that I treasure.
