USU PianoFest

Saturday, March 20, 2027

USU PianoFest is an educational and competitive event offering piano students the opportunity to set repertoire goals, receive constructive performance feedback, and compete for prizes and awards.

PianoFest takes place in the Chase Fine Arts Center on the Utah State University campus and is open to students ages 5–18. Participants may register for one or more categories, with divisions organized by age, and each performer receives adjudicated feedback on their prepared repertoire. This is an open competition, and the public is welcome to attend performances.

An Awards Ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM in the Daines Concert Hall, where 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners are recognized and 1st place winners perform.

The registration deadline is March 1. Participants will receive their room and time assignments one week before the event.

New This Year: Results will be announced in real time as each division concludes, so participants and families won't have to wait until the Awards Ceremony to find out how they placed!
