Biography

Julia Bunce began taking piano lessons at the age of 6. Over her many years of piano, she has developed a deep love for music.

She has participated in several piano competitions including USU’s PianoFest and her high school’s Young Artist’s Cup. She also completed all 10 levels of the Utah Music Teachers Association’s Achievement in Music program. Additionally, Julia was a semi-finalist in the Sterling Scholar competition for Instrumental Performance.

She began teaching piano lessons alongside her mom in 2018 and has loved teaching students to enjoy and appreciate music. Julia has had opportunities to accompany several soloists and groups as well as playing in the pit orchestra in her high school’s musical. She loves the performance opportunities she’s had to share her talents with others.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Utah State University and is thrilled to be studying what she is most passionate about!
