Biography

Macy has been playing the piano since she was nine years old. She is currently a sophomore at USU, working towards her Bachelors degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. As a performer, she greatly enjoys collaborating with other musicians who share her love of music. As a violinist and violist, Macy has played in orchestras since she was nine and has seen the results that come from working together to create music. Seeing the joy that music brings other people is unmatched, which is another reason Macy loves teaching. At 16, Macy set up her own studio in her hometown of Seattle and taught for 2 ½ years before moving to Utah for college.
