Biography

 Hailey is a current student in the USU Piano Pedagogy Minor program, majoring in Data Analytics. She has been studying under Kylee Fullmer, a graduate student, since August 2024. 

Hailey has taught at Logan Music Academy since April 2024, and at the YC since August 2025. She has experience teaching students ages ranging from kids as young as 5 to matured adults, all different skill levels. She is excited to eventually open her own piano studio. 

Hailey previously studied under Patrice West (MA Music Performance) for 10 years until attending Utah State. While studying under Patrice, Hailey performed annually at the Utah Federation of Music (UFM) competition, earning a "Superior" ranking each time. 

In March 2025 Hailey presented research on music education apps for elementary school students at the Music Teacher National Association (MTNA) Conference. Hailey is passionate about utilizing emerging technologies to complement quality teaching, facilitate student learning, and inspire excitement for music within her students. 

Hailey enjoys accompaniment performances, especially as her church choir's resident pianist. She is always ready to tackle the new challenges and opportunities that brings.
