Biography

Emily began studying piano at age six, and music has remained a central passion throughout her life. She is currently pursuing a degree in Music Education with a string emphasis and a minor in Piano Pedagogy at Utah State University. Through her experiences with both piano and cello, Emily has developed a deep appreciation for music as a powerful outlet for self-expression, creativity, and disciplined growth values that shape the core of her teaching philosophy. Emily strives to cultivate a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment where curiosity is encouraged, progress is celebrated, and performance is approached with confidence.
