Registration Open for Utah State's Aggies Soccer Camps
Registration has begun for the 2013 Aggies Soccer Camp hosted by the Utah State soccer program; it was announced Tuesday. Camp will be offered to a wide range of ages, all on the Utah State University campus in the month of July. The five clinics will go from July 13-July 18.
Under the direction of USU women's soccer head coach Heather Cairns, who led the Aggies to their second-straight NCAA appearance in 2012, the Aggies Soccer Camp is striving to help each player improve skills, tactics and gain confidence on and off the field. Cairns is assisted by her USU staff, including associate head coach Trevor Wachsman, current staff and former Aggie players will be on campus to help campers reach their ultimate potential.
The first of the three camps will be the College ID and Goalkeepers Camp which is designed to challenge players in competitive environment. Camp topics will include tactical and technical training for field players and specific training for goalkeepers. Camp participants will also have the opportunity to learn about what it takes to be successful as a college soccer student-athlete. The College ID/Goalkeeper Camp will be July 13 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for girls 14-18 years old. This camp is $55 for early registration until July 1 and $70 after that date.
The Aggies Camp will take place July 16-18 from 7-8:30 p.m. and offers a great value for campers ages 8-14. Coach Cairns and her Division I staff will guide the campers through the drills and skills that they need to be competitive on the soccer field. Early registration is $45 until July 1 and $60 after July 1. This camp offers excellent player to coach ration to maximize the camper experience.
Lil' Aggies Camp offers a great atmosphere for young players. This is a coed camp open to all kids 4-7 years old. All the coaches will guide the campers through the basics and fundamentals, giving them a great head start. Campers will learn the "FUN"damentals of soccer. This camp runs from July 16-18 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Early registration for the Lil' Aggies Camp is $45 until July 1 and $60 after that date.
