    5 Things to Ponder as the Aggies Head to Fall Camp

    Utah State is coming off one of the best years in school history, and there’s nothing to suggest that the Aggies won’t be a factor in the battle for the Mountain West championship again in 2015. ... Head coach Matt Wells is 19-9 in his first two years at the helm of his alma mater, and the former Aggie quarterback has played a huge part in changing the culture in Logan. It wasn’t that long ago that USU simply had hopes of a winning season, but the Aggies have now gone to four straight bowl games and won the last three. ... Utah State’s “next man up” mantra has also served the program well, particularly last year when the Aggies were hit with an unprecedented number of season-ending injuries to key personnel. But despite being short on linebackers and losing three quarterbacks, USU still gutted out the second-most wins in school history despite starting a true freshman at quarterback for half of the season.
