Utah State to Host Mother-Daughter Volleyball Skills Clinic Aug. 13

Utah State [University] head volleyball coach Grayson DuBose and members of the 2016 volleyball team will host a free skills clinic Saturday, Aug. 13. The event will be held on Kirby Court at the Wayne Estes Center with check-in set for 9:30 a.m. in the lobby, with instruction to follow from 10 a.m. to noon. Those interested are encouraged to sign up early as the clinic will be limited to the first 100 participants.

The clinic is available for children entering the 8th grade and below and adults who are at least 18. Participants will be able to learn basic volleyball techniques and the latest information on rule changes in the collegiate game. All participants will receive a free USU Volleyball t-shirt and will have the chance to get to know the USU volleyball team as part of an autograph session following the clinic.

Registration is available online. The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 12. For more information, contact Ryan McLane at ryan.mclane@usu.edu.

Utah State women’s volleyball will host 13 matches on Kirby Court at the Wayne Estes Center in 2016, including the Utah State Invitational presented by Gossner Foods, where the Aggies will host UC Riverside, Portland State and Southeastern Louisiana. USU will host a sneak peek of the season in the Blue/White Scrimmage Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m.
