Mailing lists can be requested to send newsletters, magazines, event invitations and more to alumni and or donors. Advancement will generate the list pulling individuals from our data that meet the criteria that you specify. If we don’t already track all the criteria that you need, we can discuss what it would take to start doing so.

Once we have the correct group identified, Advancement will ensure that the only valid addresses are used and that recipient preferences are considered. Should more than one individual with the same address meet your criteria, our default will be to combine to a single mail piece per household unless otherwise requested.

Upon completion the list will be sent to you in an Excel spreadsheet for review and then using your preferred method to print onto your mail piece.

To ensure that only the most current data is used and USU is in compliance with laws, regulations and alumni/donor preferences, lists should not be saved and used beyond their initially requested purpose. If the list is not used within 2 weeks of receipt a refresh of the data should be requested.
