Schedule an Appointment - Agriculture & Natural Resources
The Agriculture, Natural Resources & Environmental Sciences focus area offers a variety of majors that emphasize practical applications of science. Many students in this focus area are interested in being outdoors and preserving the natural environment for future generations. These majors are ideal if you are motivated by seeing tangible results, enjoy understanding and predicting physical and biological phenomena, and appreciate the hands-on, outdoor aspects of your work.
You should consider taking ENGL 1010 (or ENGL 2010 if you have credit for 1010) in your first semester. We also recommend USU 1010 for students in their first semester of college. For many majors, it is also important that you take a math class early to put you on the correct math track - see your advisor if you have any questions.
