Biography

Arjun received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where his thesis focused on generative diffusion models and graph neural network applications in computational materials science. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physics, with graduate research centered on computational physics and density functional theory. His notable prior work includes developing an adaptive hp-refinement algorithm for a finite-element framework in a DOE-funded project and modeling quasi-particle transport in nuclear materials at Idaho National Laboratory. He also enjoys developing open-source computational frameworks for simulations based on ab-initio principles in quantum mechanical, statistical physics and finite element modeling.
