Graduate Researcher

Biography
Arjun is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma/Utah State University, where his thesis focuses on generative diffusion models and graph neural network applications in computational materials science. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physics, with graduate research centered on computational physics and density functional theory. His notable prior work includes developing an adaptive hp-refinement algorithm for a finite-element framework in a DOE-funded project and modeling quasi-particle transport in nuclear materials at Idaho National Laboratory. He also enjoys developing open-source computational frameworks for simulations based on ab-initio principles in quantum mechanical, statistical physics and finite element modeling.
