Justin is a PhD student studying biogeochemistry and is researching soil stabilization post-wildfire, to reduce soil erosion. He graduated with B.S. in Plant Science (2017) and M.S. in Soil Science (2020) from USU. His master’s degree researched focused on soil health differences between oil well pads (undergoing reclamation) and the adjacent, undisturbed rangeland, with the goal to improve reclamation success, in the Uintah Basin.
