How-tos for the Suite 117 Conference Area


Using the Conference Computer and Display

  • To log in to the computer and touch display, use the account called Air Quality.  Leave the password blank.
  • To access Microsoft Teams from the computer, just add usuvboard@gmail.com to your team or channel.
  • You can also email usuvboard@gmail.com and then access the email on the conference computer using Microsoft Outlook.

Using the Conference Area Without First Scheduling It

Anyone can use the conference area at any time without scheduling it, as long as it is not already scheduled for that time.  Scheduled meetings will be given priority.

Scheduling the Conference Area

Checking the Schedule
  • You can view the conference schedule (but not what it is scheduled for) at this link.or via the embedded calendar below.
  • You can view schedule details by logging in to the conference computer and looking at its Outlook calendar.
  • You can obtain administrative privileges for the usuvboard@gmail.com calendar by emailing Seth Lyman to get the password for it.

Adding an Item to the Schedule
  • The easiest way to add an item to the schedule is to create an Outlook calendar item and invite usuvboard@gmail.com to it.  It will then show up on the conference computer's Outlook calendar (and on the calendar embedded in this page). 
  • You can also add a calendar item directly on the conference computer's Outlook calendar.
  • You can obtain administrative privileges for the usuvboard@gmail.com calendar by emailing Seth Lyman to get the password for it.
Removing an Item from the Schedule
  • You can remove an item from the schedule by deleting the item on the conference computer's Outlook calendar.
  • If you have sent the calendar an Outlook invite from your personal Outlook account, canceling the event on your Outlook account will remove it from the conference computer's calendar.  
  • You can also add a calendar item directly on the conference computer's Outlook calendar.
